President, Owner
Angie’s been saying “yes” to big ideas since her riverboat days on the Mighty Mississippi. She joined Destination St. Louis in 1999, became President in 2016, and took the reins as owner in 2018—proof that hard work and hustle pay off!
A true logistics guru, Angie loves nothing more than mapping out shuttle routes, organizing manifests and making complex operations look easy. She’s also a familiar face in the industry, having served eight years on the Board of the DMC Network, five years on the ILEA St. Louis Board, and staying active in numerous organizations.
When she’s not running the show, Angie’s enjoying life with her two boys, spending time at her lake house and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Director of Business Development
Since 2007, Julie has been a proud member of the DSL team, where she loves introducing clients to the magic of St. Louis. With nearly three decades in the hospitality industry, Julie knows the ins and outs of creating unforgettable experiences.

Her leadership résumé is packed with accomplishments: Past President of MPI St. Louis Chapter, HSMAI Missouri Chapter, and the St. Louis Attractions Association. Along the way, she’s picked up some serious hardware — Industry Professional Volunteer of the Year, Mentor of the Year, and even the MPI St. Louis President’s Award.

But Julie isn’t all business! A lifelong St. Louisian, she’s passionate about showing off the city’s hidden gems. When she’s not crafting amazing experiences for clients, you’ll find her cheering on St. Louis City SC, planning her next big travel adventure, or hunting down the best slice in town with her Pizza Passport. Julie brings heart, humor, and hometown pride to everything she does.
Pam McGrath
Operations & Business Manager
Pam ensures every program runs seamlessly from start to finish. She oversees staffing, reservations, and final reviews with a meticulous eye for detail—triple-checking every element to guarantee flawless execution. When needed, Pam steps in on-site, bringing her expertise directly to the field.
Pam has been an integral part of Destination St. Louis since 1995, serving as the “glue” that keeps the office running smoothly. With more than 35 years in the hospitality industry, she brings unmatched experience and insight to every client engagement.

Sophie Baker
Program Manager
Sophie began her journey with Destination St. Louis as an intern in 2021. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Southeast Missouri State University, she turned her passion for events into a career, joining the team full-time in 2022.

As a Program Manager, Sophie specializes in on-site event execution - managing logistics, coordinating schedules, and ensuring every detail runs seamlessly. From vendor oversight to troubleshooting during live events, she thrives in fast-paced environments where adaptability and precision are essential.

Her dedication to the industry has earned her recognition as the 2024 Volunteer of the Year by the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) St. Louis Area Chapter. Sophie will serve on the 2026 MPI St. Louis Board as the Director of Special Events.
Layla Pettie
Program Manager
Layla joined the company as a program manager in May 2022 after graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Entertainment Management. As the ultimate type‑A personality, she thrives on logistics and taking charge to ensure every detail is flawlessly executed for her clients.

Since moving to St. Louis in 2022, Layla has quickly become a proud STL enthusiast. Her ability to see each event through the client’s eyes allows her to deliver experiences that are seamless, memorable and a little magical. She brings fresh energy to the city’s event scene, serving on industry committees and as a current board member for the St. Louis Attractions Association.

When she’s not orchestrating programs, you can find Layla traveling to see family or enjoying her favorite STL things — toasted ravioli and the world‑class zoo. Her love for STL and her passion for creating unforgettable moments make her a trusted partner for clients and colleagues alike.
Taylor Springer
Sales + Event Manager
Taylor began her career in the hospitality and events industry through hands-on internships with two of St. Louis’ most iconic organizations. As a Special Events Intern for the St. Louis Cardinals, she supported large-scale activations and VIP experiences, gaining valuable insight into event planning and execution. She then expanded her expertise as a Guest Experience Intern for the St. Louis Blues and Enterprise Center, where she worked game days, concerts, and live shows—ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction in fast-paced environments.

Taylor joined the Destination St. Louis team in March of 2025 after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration: Marketing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She now manages client relationships, creates customized proposals, and designs unique event experiences tailored to each group. She oversees every detail from concept to execution, ensuring programs reflect the client’s vision while showcasing the best of St. Louis.
